White Rhino Marble Dust

Our White Rhino Marble dust is part of our Green Mining project in which we endeavor to keep our mining environment free of contaminants. We are serious about rehabilitating our mined areas, and we are proud to say that our aggregates are the product of  constant rehabilitation of the mine.

We produce marble dust with a high whiteness factor. Marble is a metamorphic rock, which was created when tremendous pressure and heat was applied to a mass of rock. The fact that marble from certain areas are more sought after than other, can be contributed to the elemental makeup of the original rock mass from that area.  Karibib, Namibia are one of those areas.  Calcium carbonate appears in Marble which often includes manganese, magnesium and iron and the level of these elements is partially what determines the hardness and whiteness of the marble.  

The whiter and brighter the marble, the more it is sought after by industry and fine arts, and our marble dust have a whiteness component of over 88%.  In the Industry the hardness of our marble dust are also the reason White Rhino Marble dust are preferred to supplement as filler in concrete, paving stones, tiles etc.
